A person has died at Ports of Auckland early this morning.
Emergency services were alerted at about 2.15am.
The person who died is reported to be a stevedore who was working at Fergusson Container Terminal on Sunderland Street, Parnell.
Ports of Auckland chief executive Tony Gibson said they were “absolutely devastated by this news”.
