With two penalties in the first 90 seconds, England were the first to get on the scoreboard. Minutes later they were in the All Blacks' half, scoring the first try of the match.
A penalty to the All Blacks finally got them on the score board, with a conversion by Cruden.
The defence was strong from both teams however in the final seconds of the first half, Cruden got another chance to get his side within six points of the visitors.
England led going into the half, 6-10.
The All Blacks put more points on the scoreboard in the second half with a 60 metre try by Ben Smith taking his team to the lead by three.
But that three point lead resulted in a draw after a penalty kick from England.
Despite some messy play from the All Blacks, Julian Savea was still able to score in the corner. A costly mistake by England's Owen Farrell ended with a yellow card and he was sent off the field.
The All Blacks took advantage of that, with Ma'a Nonu scoring in the right corner.
In the final play of the game, England came back to score their last try, however, the All Blacks came away with the win, by one point 28-27.
