Robert Berridge has had a reading from the bible tattooed onto his right arm, words that were part of a eulogy he shared at his grandfather's funeral.
Berridge is now ranked world No. 14 in the WBO light heavyweight division.
There was talk of a possible undercard appearance for the much anticipated Alex Leapai bout against world heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko in Germany on April 26, but things have since fallen through.
A fight in May is on the cards for Berridge, putting his WBO and WBC light heavyweight titles on the line. There is also discussion of staging the event outside of Auckland.
Berridge's 10th round TKO win over Foley took his record to 23 wins.
