A body has been discovered at Haumoana Beach in Hawke's Bay this morning.
Just before 5pm yesterday, emergency services were notified of three people who were in trouble in the water. Two children made it back to shore and were taken to hospital in a stable condition.
The body is yet to be identified and more details will be released this morning.
