Back from the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Rights, NZ Nurses Organisation Kaiwhakahaere Kerri Nuku has called for the government's full commitment to the development of a growing Māori nursing workforce.
At the forum, Nuku requested a UN intervention to ensure indigenous women's voices are included and heard at the decision-making level of the health system.
