Chiefs kick off 2016 Super Rugby season with regional road trip

The Gallagher Chiefs have kicked off their 2016 march to Super Rugby supremacy today.  The team starting their road trip around their region.

The sun was out in full force today to welcome the 2016 Gallagher Chiefs to Tokoroa on day one of their Summer Road Trip around their playing region.
It doesn't necessarily mean rugby was the only thing talked about today at all, in fact wood-chopping was today's hot topic.

They're not necessarily the sharpest at it.

It's a whole new world for the Gallagher Chiefs.  Tokoroa welcomed the Gallagher Chiefs to town as they ramp up preparations for the upcoming season.

The Chiefs will visit 15 centres across the Waikato district, even right through to Ōpōtiki tomorrow.

Even though, the team has heeded the call of laughter today.

They're ready for this season.  To honour their fans.

The team will hold a public training session tomorrow morning in Ōpōtiki.
