Cold Cannons Creek home affecting tamariki health

Ngāpera Ranfurly lives in Cannons Creek and is scared her son's asthma will get worse if they aren't helped soon.

This room is filled with warmth, but unfortunately for Ngāpera Ranfurly, it's the only room in her house like that.

Ngāpera showed the Te Kāea crew around her house, you could feel a real bite in the air.

Ngāpera often worries for the health of her children.  She was given a heat pump from Housing NZ due to the seriousness of her son's illness but she says it was a waste of time because of its running costs.

Ngāpera hopes to find a solution and a warmer house sometime in the near future.
