Pacific Island Media Association's Will Ilolahia has slammed the commentators of Foxtel at the Pacific Tests in Australia over the weekend.
Ilolahia describes the pronunciation by the commentators of player’s names as shocking, insulting and racist.
He had also fielded calls and comments on social media from the families of players who say, "They actually turned the sound off because it was hurtful to have to listen to their family names being butchered.”
Ilolahia has laid a complaint with the NRL and broadcaster Foxtel Sports.
