COVID-19 testing station set up in West Auckland

The Prime Minister also announced changes to testing after mounting calls from public health experts to broaden the criteria.

Testing will now include people with COVID-19 symptoms, but not necessarily a history of overseas travel or exposure to the infected.

Te Whānau o Waipareira has set up a drive-in assessment centre in west Auckland to serve whānau who may be at risk and are encouraging more Māori to take the test.
