Cunliffe's first go at Key as Labour leader

David Cunliffe was in the Lions' Den today, laying down challenges to PM John Key in his new role as Labour Party leader.

As the saying goes, Rome wasn't built in a day.  The same goes for seeking the demise of the National government.

Shane Jones will be playing a big role in the Labour Party's campaign.  Today he was confirmed as part of the senior team.

As for the remainder of the Māori caucus, there's strong interest in the reshuffle of its members.

Next week will see the announcement on where exactly each member will be sitting on the new Labour train.

No matter the outcome, its Māori MPs say they're all of the same mind.
