Ngāti Kahu elder, Atihana Johns says the ancestral burial cave known as 'Te Ana o Taitehe' was made common a long time ago and that's why he's against their Ngāti Kahu tribal authority continuing its expensive dispute over development of the site.
He also says local marae don't support the matter being taken to the Supreme Court.
