A driver of a Christchurch City Council street sweeping vehicle has been killed in a collision with a freight truck in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The crash between the Citycare vehicle and a Fliway freight truck occurred near the intersection of Roberts Road and Pound Road in the Christchurch suburb of Islington around 3:25am.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
