Female bodybuilder looking sharp ahead of NZIFBB comp

For two years, Chantelle Siteine of Ngāti Rangiwewehi, Te Arawa has been lifting weights to prepare herself to step out onto the NZIFBB bodybuilding stage on March 21.

Siteine believes to become successful in bodybuilding it takes commitment and turning up on time to train.

“Started from the bottom, lost weight, lost 20 kilos ticked that one off my bucket list and went for the next thing that kept me driven, motivated,” says Siteine.

The 23-year-old says bodybuilding is the use of progressive resistance exercise to develop one's musculature.

Siteine will be one to keep a close eye on leading up to the NZIFBB competition.
