The incumbent MP, Te Ururoa Flavell, has a strong lead in the seat of Te Waiariki, according to Māori Television's poll results.
Te Ururoa is clearly the front-runner in this electorate. What's also interesting is the support Rawiri Waititi from the Labour Party has gained.
It seems he may have taken a cut from Mana candidate Annette Sykes' supporters.
Te Ururoa Flavell has a clear majority on 50% and Annette Sykes of the MANA Movement is way behind on 21%. However what's really interesting is how much support Labour candidate Rawiri Waititi has gained at 17%.
