Golfers battle it out for shot at finals

The senior men and women in the National Maori golf championship are battling it out to make the finals that will be played out on the Te Puke Golf course tomorrow morning.

According to Kingi Porima, “The top players are still going, Jordan Golding last year's winner is still going, same as Kate Chadwick she's still going.”

It's been a successful tournament and as the organisers build up to the finals they have nothing but praise for how things have turned out.

Tomorrow's tee off for the finals in the Open Men's and Women's division begins at 9:40 with awards night beginning at 5pm.
