While National continues promoting the benefits of this year’s budget, opposition parties say there is still not enough focus on improving the lifestyles and conditions of impoverished children and families in New Zealand.
New money has gone towards education, housing and various health sectors, however according to the leader of the Mana Party, Hone Harawira who’s in the process of rallying support for his feed the kids’ bill, the Government has essentially turned its back on some real solutions that could help ease real strain on many of the children in this country.
