The ‘NZ Breakers’ looked promising as they headed into the begging of their game against, ‘The Taipans’.
Both sides began to show off their defensive skills. It was during the fourth minute in the second quarter where the Taipans made their 9 point lead.
Miscommunication between the Breakers resulted in them trailing further behind the Taipans. The Breakers were unable to land any of their 17 attempts at three-pointers.
The final score was 59-83 to the Taipans.
With the Breakers losing the match to the Taipans, they will head home for Christmas before facing the Sydney Kings across the Tasman this Boxing Day.
