Jerry Collins' funeral will be held in his hometown of Porirua. The formalities of returning his body from France have not been completed yet but a decision has been made to have his final farewell in Porirua amongst his family and friends.
Family spokesman Tim Castle says repatriation is underway. Jerry and partner Alana Madill were killed in a car crash in southern France on Friday.
Their daughter Ayla was badly injured and remains in hospital in Montpellier.
