Kiwis set for tomorrow's big clash

Preparing for the semi-finals has been the focus this week for the Kiwis, as they enter the match against England.

According to coach Steve Kearney, “I think we made the group well aware of the challenge we face tomorrow and what England is going to present, so we have to lift the intensity at training and it’s scary sometimes to watch.”

It's important to put your best foot forward, but with Manu Vatuvei injured this may just put a unfortunate spin on the match for the Kiwi’s.

Kearney says, “We took him for a scan yesterday and it’s definitely hard for him to play this week.”

It's England’s home turf and adding to the pressure for the Kiwis, is the extremely cold weather.

However despite the snags, the team are relaxed and comfortable.

Kearney believes, “I don't think there will be any cheering and screaming for us and you know we can take that away from the English.  By putting in a very strong performance.”

The 17-man squad have been picked, there's no going back as they carry the hopes of the nation.

Although the team is homesick and miss their families, they're still focused on winning the World Cup.

The Kiwis will put their training to the test as they take on England early tomorrow morning.
