Kiwis take easy win over Kangaroos

Even though Issac Luke had to sit this game out due to suspension he still led the haka with Adam Blair.

It was a bad start for the Kiwi team with a fumble by Darren Beale which resulted in the first try going to Beau Scott of the Kangaroos.

Jason Nightingale fumbled and failed to score but Proctor managed to get the ball on the line and score.

When Greg Inglis scored there was a sense the Kangaroos were on the back foot and it was 12 all at half time.

In the start of the second half Shaun Johnson was on fire and it was clear anything he touched was bound to turn to gold.

Dean Whare's try soon after put the contest out of Australian reach and the Kiwi defence stepped it up even further.

A scoreless half for the Kangaroos got worse as Nightingale made good on his earlier error.

The Kiwis play Samoa next week in Whangarei.
