Korowai returns home from China

Once gifted to one of the most revered leaders of China, a Māori cloak has now been returned home.  The cloak was a gift from King Korokī and presented to Chairman Mao Zedong in 1957.  

Stored away for years, it has finally re-emerged to be viewed and admired by modern day NZ.  Ripeka Timutimu has the details.
