Labour Māori council plan for elections

Members of the Māori Labour Council met yesterday in Auckland to discuss their plans to win next year's election and Nanaia Mahuta believes all Māori must help to achieve their goal.

The election is still a year away but Labour's Māori council are already putting their plans together.

And in order to win, you need voters, and that’s exactly what the hot topic of discussion was.

Arena Williams is the Young Māori Labour Vice-President and she thinks the key to success is the young Maori voters.  The Labour Maori council hope that getting young Maori to vote for them will also help them to victory next year.
