Labour MP confident on home soil at Rātana Pā

Te Tai Hauāuru MP Adrian Rurawhe is confident Labour can take National in the 2017 election.

It has taken 12 years for Labour to win back the Te Tai Hauāuru seat, and for Rurawhe, it shows his people are on the move.

According to Rurawhe, “Ringatū religion, Kīngitanga Movement and Rātana faith have stood together to issue challenges to politicians. It's only right for all iwi across the nation to stand together, challenge the politicians.”

With many iwi represented on the speakers panel at Rātana this week, politicians know it could be a great opportunity to get supporters on their bandwagon.
