Len Brown reinstated Mayor

Len Brown has been reinstated again to his throne, as Mayor for Auckland's Super City Council.  Len Brown was cool, calm and collected, surrounded by his family when he announced the good news to the media.

Len received more than 140,000 votes, John Palino was runner up, and he received over 90,000 votes.  However, the low turnout of voters with only 34% casting their votes is a concern.

Len says he will take up the challenge from marae in Auckland,

for the Mayor to take a harder stance on alcohol regulations.

Brown also says that he is looking forward to working again with the Independent Māori Statutory Board.
