Line up named for NZ Māori league team

The NZ Māori team only met briefly before being welcomed onto Te Ōhākī Marae in Huntly today.

They prepare for their game against the Murri Queensland Indigenous side this weekend in Huntly.

The Māori team was named earlier this month and this is the first time they've come together since playing the NZ University team in August.

There are a few new faces in the squad, including Warriors player Sam Rapira who missed out on a spot with the Kiwis Rugby League World Cup squad.

The Māori team will hold their first training tomorrow morning.
