Jack Maikuku exits the Te Awamutu District Court after appearing alongside his son, Jackie, on charges relating to the assault of Constable Perry Griffin.
This comes as more dramatic footage was released of last weekend's incident relating to Const. Griffin's attempted arrest of 19-year-old Jackie Maikuku.
Jackie Maikuku is remanded in custody, while his father, Jack Maikuku, is remanded on bail.
They are both to reappear in court on March 18.
