Maitland to play for Scotland in Six Nations

Māori winger, Sean Maitland, has been thrust into the Scotland squad to begin preparations for the upcoming Six Nations Tournament.

Maitland (Ngāpuhi) has only been in Scotland for around three months, but qualifies for immediate selection through his Scottish grandfather.

Maitland joined the Glasgow Warriors last October, when he became frustrated with his lack of progression to NZ's top side.

Maitland is one of 19 Scotland squad members who play for the Glasgow Warriors, who are currently placed second in the Celtic League.
