Māori Party calls for compensation for Pora

Police divided on the Teina Pora case who was sentenced to prison 21 years ago.

Police Association president, Greg O'Connor, is calling for an independent inquiry into the case but Police Minister Anne Tolley isn't in support.

Pora is believed to have been wrongly convicted of murder of a woman, and the Māori Party say a compensation of millions is only way to right a wrongful conviction.
