Māori students excited to represent Warriors at Youth Summit

Four Māori school students have been nominated by the Vodafone Warriors to represent the club at the Youth Summit the week of the NRL All Stars match next week in the Gold Coast.

There they'll attend workshops alongside 56 indigenous students from Australia.  One of the exciting things they'll get to experience is attending the NRL All Stars game.

It was a first time experience for the students to watch their stars in action at this morning's Warriors training session.

Come next Friday they'll be lucky enough to watch the NRL All Stars game live.

Out of the many applicants who applied to represent the Vodafone Warriors at the summit, two students each from Ngā Tapuwae and Hoani Waititi nabbed all four spots.

They'll attend the Summit alongside 56 Indigenous students from Australia and they'll be lead through a series of cultural and leadership activities.

The students depart for the Gold Coast on Tuesday.
