Continuing with the candidacy for the Ikaroa-Rāwhiti by-election, Marama Davidson (Ngāti Porou, Ngāpuhi) has gained the Green Party's candidacy for the seat.
Davidson is known for her work at the Human Rights Commission, is also a Māori media political commentator and currently works for the Owen Glenn inquiry into family violence and child abuse.
