Over the weekend the waka Mataatua Puhi was returned to Te Ngāere in Whangaroa from Waitangi in the Bay of Islands. A team of 50 paddlers took eight hours to complete the journey. Our camera operator Ethan Smith was among the paddlers, and he talked to another paddler, Albert Cash.
