Ngā Aho Whakaari are hosting "Matariki Ngā Aho Shorts" this weekend, in celebration of Māori short films and the hard working people behind the scenes.
A Gala night is being held this Saturday 20 June with a number of VIP guests, film-makers and local short film enthusiasts attending.
There are also two other shows being held:
* Sunday 21 June 2015 at 6.30pm-8.30pm
Māngere Arts Centre – Ngā Tohu o Uenuku
* Monday 22nd June 2015 at 6.00pm-8.30pm
Sir Paul Reeves Theatre – AUT
It is a gold coin entry which will go towards the Melissa Wikaire Endowment Fund to help further the career of Māori film-makers.
