Methamphetamine operation underway in Wellington region

This morning Police are searching nine properties across the Wellington region for evidence of methamphetamine production and supply, and money laundering involving the Head Hunters gang.

Police currently have four offenders in custody.

Over 60 police are involved in the operation known as “Flyer” – including members of the armed offenders squad and follows several month of investigation.

Along with evidence relating to a methamphetamine supply chain in the Wellington region, Police are also looking for cars, motorcycles and cash that have been procured through crime.
