Some of this country's top CrossFit athletes took part in the first Military Champs today at the Ohakea RNZAF Base.
It's was a tri-service event that saw Army, Navy and Airforce throwing down for top honours. Today’s event also saw the likes of both current and former members of the military.
The inaugural competition is a natural fit for those who have military backgrounds, all laying it on the floor in an ascending ladder of pull ups and double-unders.
‘Kinetic gains’ was the name of the game to end an event that the military hope to make an annual event on the CrossFit calendar.
