Minister to meet with Serco

Minister of Corrections Sam Lotu-Iiga will be meeting with Serco bosses today, and will no doubt be addressing the allegations of fight clubs and alcohol consumption in Mount Eden Prison.

The minister has been under fire, after YouTube clips surfaced, showing inmates involved in what look to be organised punch-ups in the cells.

After being bombarded by the media, and Labour corrections spokesman Kelvin Davis, Lotu-Iiga has ordered an inquiry into Serco.

Yesterday, Lotu-Iiga and his National colleagues voted down a motion to have the Chief Executive front for the Law and Order select committee.
