Native Affairs – Moko Part 1

Māori Women's Refuge child advocate Trina Marama was singled out as the social worker who failed Moko Rangitoheriri.

The toddler was killed in one of New Zealand's worst child abuse cases.

Trina Marama worked with Moko's killer Tania Shailer and his 7-year old sister before Moko's death. Trina claims she never knew Moko was being abused. She speaks exclusively to Native Affairs.
