At any one time 2000 fathers are in prison and 3000 children growing up without them.  But not many lose their dad for a twenty-year stretch.

Chanelle Pora has and while she has always believed he's innocent, she's now joined by a growing group of supporters.

Teina Pora was convicted of the brutal rape and murder of Susan Burdett and has served 20 years behind bars.  Last night, Māori Television screened a documentary on Teina Pora's story called ‘Confessions of Prisoner T’.
