Native Affairs - A duty of care - Part 1

Last year 20-year old Sentry Taitoko died in a police cell he should never have even been in. His tragic story and the blunders Police made while in their care has become a landmark case.

It led to an official inquiry which recommended major changes with the way Police deal with people in custody, who are under the influence of alcohol and drugs.

Tonight his family speak out for the first time to our reporter Ruwani Perera. They want people to know what happened to their brother and son in the final hours of his life.

Warning: Some scenes may be disturbing.
