Native Affairs Final 2014 - Part 1

Native Affairs kicks off its final show of 2014 with a performance by the students of Newton Central Primary School and is joined by former and current politicians, celebrities and media commentators to celebrate the ups and downs of 2014.

It's been a year of changes particularly in the Beehive.

After the general election we ended up with a record 26 Māori MPs many filling the space of long-serving MPs and others who left under a cloud.

Someone who passed those guys on the way in was the first list MP for the Māori Party, the dark horse as she calls herself, Marama Fox.

Native Affairs is also joined by former Māori Affairs Ministers who are manning the BBQ alongside reporter Billie Jo Hohepa-Ropiha.
