Native Affairs - Find Me A Māori Bride

Māori Television's new comedy series "Find Me a Māori Bride" premieres this Friday.

The show centres on first cousins Tama Bradley and George Alpert played by Cohen Holloway and Matariki Whatarau who are given an ultimatum by their late grandmother.

To inherit the $47 millon whānau farm the pair must find a Māori bride within six months all while being filmed by a Māori film crew.

The show is narrated by Jennifer Ward-Lealand and also features our favourite “Shorty” star Amanda Billing along with Matariki Whatarau.

Mihingarangi Forbes spoke to both Amanda and Matariki in studio.
