Native Affairs - Political Panel Pt1 - Gaza

Tonight on Native Affairs we bring you our first political debate of the year, where we will discuss the state of the Māori Nation, but first a developing story.

Native Affairs reporter Ruwani Perera and cameraman Jacob Bryant are two of 20 people who have been detained by Israeli Authorities and are now enroute to the Israeli port of Ashdod.

Joining Mihingarangi Forbes in the studio to debate the hot topics of the moment are: Māori Party, Minister for Māori Development, Te Ururoa Flavell, Co-Leader of the Green Party Metiria Turei, Leader of New Zealand First Winston Peters and Labour Party spokesperson for Māori Affairs and Treaty Settlements, Nanaia Mahuta.

Native Affairs invited a number of senior National MPs both Maori and non-Māori, none of whom made themselves available.
