Late last month the Housing Minister Nick Smith took the media on a “Niki-tour” of Tamaki-Makaurau pointing out Crown Land he was about to make available to developers in an attempt to ease the Auckland housing crisis.
The problem, a clause in most Treaty Settlements called, "The Right of First Refusal." So, is the Minister about to undo decades of progress on Treaty Settlements?
