When you're homeless, sometimes a car is the next best thing. 

That's been the case for a number of young pregnant mums living in Auckland.

Homeless shelters and emergency housing centres say they're at crisis point.

While an Auckland council report shows around 15,000 people in Auckland are quote "severely housing-deprived".

Semiramis Holland investigates why some people have become so desperate.
