Beggars who are causing a nuisance or being intimidating won't be allowed on Auckland's streets under a new bylaw passed by the Auckland Council.

Under the bylaw, which comes into effect next month, people can't ask for money, food or other items in a manner that may intimidate or cause a nuisance.

So what affect will this have on the folks doing it tough on the streets of Tāmaki?
