Neville overcomes injury to compete in NZ's longest running CrossFit comp

The Battle of the Fittest is the longest running CrossFit competition in New Zealand.  It will feature top athletes both from here and across the ditch in a gruelling three day competition.

Joelene Neville talks about her road to crossfit and overcoming injury to compete against some of the best.

Only twenty days remain until Neville will once again test herself against some of Australasia's top crossfit athletes.

After a serious injury that tore the ligaments in her elbow last August, she was out for weeks of intense rehabilitation.

She proved everyone wrong, making it into the top 48 men and women to compete in the Australian Regional competition this year, and she's now in training mode for the Battle of the Fittest.

For this former national sprint champion overcoming injury has been a journey of growth, lessons that have helped her training both physically and mentally.
