New online look for Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori

With Māori Language Week looming, Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori (Māori Language Commission) has launched its upgraded website, integrating four websites into one.

Acting Chief Executive Tuehu Harris says, "Our website is now compatible across a range of platforms and devices, so Māori language speakers and learners can engage with us from wherever they are in the motu, or the world."

The "one-stop shop" website allows public access to:

- He Puna Whakarauora - The Research Centre

- Māori language community funding

- Other services previously available through the old corporate and Kōrero Māori websites

- Ordering resources for Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori which begins on 27 July 2015.

The new look website is hoped to encourage Māori language communities to engage with Te Taura Whiri i te Reo Māori and access information more than ever.
