New website popular with families of WW1 soldiers

RSA is currently running a campaign called the ShadowBattalion.

The campaign is run through a website where people can search for Anzac soldiers that served during WWI, learn their history, see their service record and share their findings via social media.

Te Kāea reporter, Numia Ponika-Rangi spoke with Jayne Ihaka of Rangitāne who since joining Shadow Battalion has uncovered some really interesting stories about her family and their Maori heritage.

Jayne is now looking at starting a blog and gathering more information for an in-depth research project.
