Wikitōria Day

Ngāi Tūhoe

Wikitōria Day was born in Whakatāne, and attended Whakatāne High School. Sports has always played a big part in her life and whilst at school she was involved in a range of sports including hockey, volleyball and waka kōpapa.

In 2010, she completed a BA in Te Reo Māori and Screen & Media Studies from Waikato University. The following year she went on to graduate with First Class Honours in Te Reo Māori.

Joining the Te Kāea newsroom in December 2013, Wikitōria is now an Online News Producer who co-presents our live midday news bulletin, Rereātea - Midday News Bytes.
