Jordan Ngatai (Ngāti Toa) spent the last year at a junior college in the US, advancing both his studies and basketball career.
He's back home for the US summer break before he heads to Bringham Young University in Hawai'i but he joins the top basketballers in the country this week at the Tall Blacks trials in Auckland.
