The normalisation of the Māori language in homes around the country is a goal that has long been at the forefront of language revitalisation efforts.
It is a mammoth challenge that is being picked up by the new chief executive of Te Mātāwai, Poia Rewi, who takes the helm in July. Te Ao spoke with Professor Rewi earlier today.
